At La Place Hotel & Country Cottages we believe that fabulous food starts with local produce. The Head Chef and his team prepare a wide choice of food from simple, light dishes to modern Jersey inspired dishes using locally sourced, quality produce. We provide a variety of menus to suit every taste.
We would like to inform our valued guests and community that our restaurant is now closed until May 2027. This temporary closure is part of an exciting redevelopment project, as Hotel La Place is being transformed into self-catering accommodation. We can’t wait to welcome you back once the renovation is complete and share our new and improved facilities.

Drift back into the laid back elegance of the hotels bar and lounge. Our bars provide a calm and relaxing atmosphere in which to make new friends. Featuring authentic exposed beams from the original farmhouse.
The La Place Bar is light and comfortable, adjacent to the swimming pool, this relaxed bar caters for all tastes throughout the day and into the evening. Our comprehensive bar menu is available all day along with an extensive drink, cocktails and wine list.
The lounge bar is the ideal venue for pre-dinner cocktails and after dinner coffee.
The exposed beams are original from what was the farmhouse kitchen of the house, now fully refurbished in a light and modern style. With roaring fires in the winter months the perfect lounge for reading the morning papers, or a relaxing afternoon & evening with drinks.
The courtyard with then original farmhouse well adjoins the lounge bar where in good weather drinks can be taken and breakfast is served in the high summer months.
